Google heard me, now i dont have to be impatient anymore…

Google really heard me, people like me dont have to be impatient anymore. We wont have to wait for 10s of minutes to download a HD quality movie, we wont have to wait infront of the screens for our apps to load , Thank you Google for taking a step forward to go beyond the traditional broadband.

Google on Wednesday announced that it wants to “build and test ultra high-speed broadband networks in a small number of trial locations across the United States.”Google’s proposed networks would service anywhere from 50,000 to 500,000 people with commercial broadband Internet service reaching speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second.

Google in its recent blog post, build  a clear picture of  what super high speed gig broadband look like. Like the Google says it “Think big with a gig”. Imagine sitting in a rural health clinic, streaming three-dimensional medical imaging over the web and discussing a unique condition with a specialist in New York. Or downloading a high-definition, full-length feature film in less than five minutes. Or collaborating with classmates around the world while watching live 3-D video of a university lecture. This thought itself is amazing isn’t it.

Offcourse this is the start, the roads for Google’s upcoming plans. Google, infact is building the infrastucture for the next generation internet keeping in mind its primary objective to keep the net neutral and open

Why didn’t any one thought about of it before ? Google really showed its supremacy in the internet world. Google actually showed how the traditional ISPs are deploying broadband ineffectively. It will definitely have a lots of plans ahead on the usage, its really gonna revolutionise the internet. We just need to wait for the next surprise.
