Green Cloud

In todays world , “Going Green” is equally important . (Green computing is the study and practice of using computing resources efficiently. The primary objective of such a program is to account for the triple bottom line (People , Planet , Profit), an expanded spectrum of values and criteria for measuring organizational (and societal) success.)
Cloud computing is inherently green. Economics plays a part because as you pay for only what you need you use this resource only when needed. Being a shared service, capacity utilization is much higher than with enterprise computing and you do not have to set up and power hardware not being used.

Cloud OS – Next generation OS

Cloud is not limited to applications only , cloud based OS are on their way to load on your netbooks.

Good OS has already come up with “Cloud 1” which is based on cloud concept.

I have used their earlier OS “GOS” (Linux based Distro , which the Good team describes as “Linux for rest of us”) which was quite impressive and very much user freindly and more focused on internet usage. So I am definitely looking forward to play along with their Cloud 1 as soon as it will be available for download .

Can check out the GOS and CLOUD1 on GooD OS official website

With OSs being developed on “Clouds” , Cloud is definitely going to be the future of internet technologies .

With the announcement of Google Chrome OS , which is boasted to be entirely on cloud will be seen in most of the netbooks in early 2010 as Google already started tie-ups with major Hardware Vendors to bring up more and more netbooks in the market in 2010 . 2010 is surely going to be on Cloud .
