OpenSolaris 2009.06 released

As an Open Source enthusiast I wont miss the opportunity to share that OpenSolaris 2009.06 is released and yes I have tried it too . You can get the download or request for a free Live CD directly from their website http://opensolaris.org/os/TryOpenSolaris/.
I have used various major Linux distros like OpenSuse , Fedora , Mandriva , Debian and was using a debian based light weight linux distro Libranet all this time on my machine , This time I just wanted to try out and have a feel of Solaris so finally downloaded OpenSolaris 2009. There are some very new features that Linux is lacking and vice versa , so will have a look and update more later on my experience with Solaris .
For those who don’t know about OpenSolaris , OpenSolaris is an open source operating system based on Sun Microsystems’ Solaris. It is also the name of the project initiated by Sun to build a developer and user community around it.
OpenSolaris is derived from the Unix System V Release 4 codebase, with significant modifications made by Sun since it bought the rights to that code in 1994
